Cryogenic ball valves are mainly used in chemical equipment handling mediums as cryogenic liquid, ethylene,liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, LNG, etc.
These types of flammable and explosive medium can be volumetrically expanded by several hundred times when it is being gasfied under rising temperature ,and they are difcult to handle because they have highly penetrative and leaky properties.
